DEBBIE GIBSON AND TIFFANY ANNOUNCE JOINT TOUR!

Were you a child raised in the '80s, or at least a lover of the time period when dance pop wore acid was jeans, fringed leather jackets, and Reboks? Can you not forget about the heyday of shopping mall tours? If so, then you might appreciate the good news that is beckoning an '80s revival.

It has recently been revealed that pop superstars Tiffany and Debbie Gibson (the Christina andBritney of their day) will be uniting for a tour, and they are calling it “A Journey Through the '80s.” It has been over 20 years since the glory days of Tiffany’s cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” and Debbie Gibson’s “Shake Your Love” had the two battling for the cover of Teen Beat magazine. But if history repeats itself, then we are well overdue for a rejuvenation that will result in lots of head shakin' and arm swingin’ and lots of neon!
After dabbling in music here and there over these past few years, Tiff and Deb gave us a preview of their powers uniting when they co-starred in the SyFy original flick Mega Python vs. Gatoroid in January. It is exciting to think of what we can expect to see when they rock the stage in true '80s fashion (minus the hair). The pair say we should expect to hear their hits as well as covers fromStevie NicksGuns N Roses, and Reba McEntire.
If this tour goes the way we hope it does, maybe we will be so lucky to have NKOTB drop the BSBfor a couple nights and join the ladies for a few shows; Wouldn’t that be a doozy!!!
To get all you 20-somethings up to speed who did not have the pleasure of experiencing these '80s goddesses firsthand, check out both Tiffany's and Debbie's biggest hits: "I Think We're Alone Now" and"Shake Your Love".
What do you think Tiffany and Debbie Gibson’s return?
