There's something about 80s synthpop that resonates with just about every generation. Sure, you could wax lyrical about the genius of Michael Jackson or get into a heated debate over whether The Beatles or The Rolling Stones is the greatest rock band of all time -- nothing gets everyone in a crowd of tweens and middle-aged office drones alike grooving along helplessly than the infecitious ditties and unabashedly mindless lyrics of 80s synthpop. Embrace it. After all, we ourselves "stand accused, of love [of 80s pop!] in the first degree".

And if you're still mourning the loss of Wednesday Mambo nights at Zouk, it's time to get your fill of reminiscing over the years of yore at the annual Retrolicious; the insanely-popular concert makes a return this year with an even bigger lineup, featuring Howard Jones, Wang Chung, Tiffany and Alphaville. It's time to bust out those shoulder pads and neon leggings again. You know you want to.
